May be an older book, but still a very good book!! I find it refreshing since I'm an older reader. I've kept it so I can read it periodically.
If you like books that do not have a lot of swearing and very explicit sex scenes . Then you would like this book.
I come back to this book about once a year and reread it. It's such a special, very sweet story about a journalist who becomes involved with the coach of a famous basketball team. I recommend this book to anyone who likes contemporary romance!
Absolutely loved this book. Sorry to have it end. I missed the characters so much, I reread the book which I have never done before with any other book.

Barbara Delinsky is the quintessential writer of human feelings of all kinds, especially, love. You walk away feeling these emotions.
Being a fan of the author, I picked up this book for some good summer beach reading. I was not disappointed. Nia, a journalist, and Dan, a pro basketball coach, are very likeable and meet under interesting circumstances. While some of the references are dated, their romance is not. I like how they do not get along at first, they get to know each other, he helps her through a tragedy and chooses love before his career when a pushy boss gets in the way. There are few other characters and that is nice too, some books have way too many small characters introduced for no reason. All in all a great story
